Terms of use
Last updated 26 October 2026
These terms cover your use of buildyourtoolkit.com. They are short because the site is simple: it helps you find apps and links you to their makers. By using the site, you agree to them.
Who we are
Build Your Toolkit is run by Anyro from Australia. “We”, “us” and “our” mean Build Your Toolkit. You can reach us through the contact form.
What the site is
Build Your Toolkit is a free guide. It asks what you need and shows the apps that match. We don't sell any app, take payments or manage subscriptions. When you sign up for an app, you sign up with its maker under the maker's terms, and the maker is responsible for the service, billing, refunds and your data there.
App information
We work to get app details right, but they come from each maker's own pages, gathered with the help of software and AI. Apps change their features and prices often, so details can be wrong or out of date.
- Check the app's own pricing and features pages before you pay. Every price here shows the date we checked it.
- We don't test apps ourselves. The order follows what independent reviewers recommend.
- Nothing here is professional, legal or security advice. Check an app meets your workplace's rules before you connect a work account.
Affiliate links
Some links are affiliate links. If you sign up for a paid plan after clicking one, we may earn a commission. It doesn't change your price. Our disclosure explains how this works and how apps are chosen.
Other websites
We link to app makers and affiliate networks. We don't control those sites and aren't responsible for their content, apps, prices or privacy practices. Their own terms apply.
Using the site
You are welcome to use Build Your Toolkit to pick apps and to share links to it. Please don't:
- scrape, copy or mirror the site, its catalog or its pages, or collect them with bots or other automated tools (search engines indexing pages as our robots.txt allows is fine);
- use the site's content to train or improve AI or machine learning models;
- try to break, overload or get around the security of the site;
- use the site to break the law or to mislead anyone.
We may block anyone who does.
Who owns what
The site's design, code and writing belong to Build Your Toolkit. App names, icons and logos belong to their makers. Showing them here doesn't mean a maker endorses us, or that we're connected to any maker beyond the affiliate programs in our disclosure. You can quote a short part of a page with a link back.
No guarantees
We provide the site as it is and as available. We don't promise that it will always be online or free of errors, or that any app will suit you. To the extent the law allows, we exclude all warranties that these terms don't state.
Your rights under consumer law
Nothing in these terms excludes, restricts or changes any right or remedy you have under the Australian Consumer Law, or any other law, that can't lawfully be excluded, including the consumer guarantees. Where the law lets us limit our liability for failing a consumer guarantee, our liability is limited to supplying the service again or paying the cost of having it supplied again.
If you live outside Australia, you also keep every protection the mandatory laws of your country give you.
Limits on our liability
Subject to the section above, and to the extent the law allows, we aren't liable for any loss or damage that comes from using the site or not being able to use it, from relying on its information, from apps you sign up for, or from other websites. That includes indirect or consequential loss, such as lost profits or lost data. Nothing in these terms limits liability that the law doesn't allow to be limited, such as liability for fraud, or for death or personal injury caused by negligence.
Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of Victoria, Australia, and the courts of Victoria can hear any dispute about them. If you are a consumer, you can also use the courts where you live, if your local law gives you that right.
Changes
We may update these terms. The date at the top shows when they last changed, and the version on this page when you use the site is the one that applies.
If part of these terms doesn't hold
If a court finds any part of these terms unenforceable, the rest still applies.
